I mean particularly dragons, goblins and demons? They all make cat sounds when being hit. Shouldn't they roar instead? Is there some big idea behind that?

I entered the " glimmering whatever I have a countdown cave" without knowing it s a " trap " when underleveled, then saved inside using the emulator options and could not get out without killing the boss (no guide was showing me the correct route for the exit).
I managed to kill him without the required Emma skills (according to the Prima Guide), but finally managed to beat him with healings and elemental resistances from Cecilia.
I have not downloaded his skills tho... Emma's ones, and he had PLENTY of skills, but it was a warzone and i could not revive her without loosing the battle. Is that a problem? Can i just obtain the boss skills elsewhere?
I am loving the game so far ( I ve only played wild arms 3 before this one) but i really hated this cave in particular. I hate spheres now. And foxes.
I have Zed now, and I upgraded and learned his other skills at the Elw's world. How usable is him?

I ve only played Wild arms 3 ( and loved it). Is Code F worth it? Is it close to Wild arms 3 style? I loved the world, the story and the character build up with the Guardians and the items for passive skills. Does Code F have the same stuff?

Wanna earn a lot of cash in wild arms 3 but the gella eater is taking too long to appear in the abyss?
well i'm here with a much better and much faster method of obtaining all the gella you could ever need.
All you need to start this farm is ONE mega berry. You get this item during the early parts of chapter 3.
Next you need the secret garden to make use of this farm, but chances are you will have already unlocked it in chapter 2.
Sow your one mega berry and plant it in all 8 spots, leave and go to baskar village and sleep there for a large amount time, next breed as many mega berries as you can until you reach the 100% mark. afterwards the rate in which you obtain these mega berries increase ten-fold.
But why the mega berry? this little item sells for 600 gella a piece.
if you abuse the secret garden you can get 99 mega berries. 99 x 600= 59400 gella
once you've bred your mega berry to it's full potential and sleep for a certain number of times you'll be earning 59400 gella every 5-8 minutes
this method is superior to the abyss trick since you don't have to worry about the gella eater not spawning or messing up when it eats your gella and you fail to kill him.

All we need are the last two games and every mainline entry will be on modern systems. Loved 1 and 2 and currently playing the 3rd game, so i hope in the near future we get the last 2 games since it wouldn't make sense not to have the rest of the series on PSN while the other games are there.

If so, what are some of your faves and why? I've actually written a WA1 fic and I'm disappointed with how few there are. One I really like is The Fourth Statue by quicksilver_ink at http://archiveofourown.org/works/2808947 because it captures the character's personalities really well.

Title. This has been a series of RPGs that I never got around to getting into back when I was a teenager.
From what I understand, all of these games' stories and characters are standalone, right? I don't need to play WA2 to understand what's going on in WA3, etc.?
Even then, which is the one I should start with? I've heard a lot of people seem to prefer the original PS1 Wild Arms to Alter Code F on PS2, but I'm not sure the reason why.
Remakes and remasters nowadays are getting to the point of it being like they're remaking games who's original versions are still perfectly playable. Like, do we REALLY need a Persona 3 Remake that doesn't have everything from all of the versions into one? I'd even say this for RE4 Remake which might be a solid enough remake for a lot of people even if the way the game is played is fundamentally different from the OG which wasn't that outdated looking.
But back then, remakes weren't them just upping the graphics and cutting content; we had Metroid Zero Mission and the GC remake of the first Resident Evil where not only did they introduce improvements from the sequels, but in the case of Zero Mission, it was a remake that was a legitimate improvement over the original NES Metroid for those who aren't hard-core into the romhacking/glitch scene of the original game.
I say all of this to state what I think of remakes when it comes to video games back then vs. now, where companies use them as nostalgia bait after ignoring those people clamoring for remakes of games for this reason or that reason. "They did a remake of RE1 on GC, but then just did a touched up port of RE2 and RE3 on GC as opposed to them being full on remakes," "Final Fantasy 7's stick figures look so outdated and you can't tell what they're gesturing with their hands," or, "Man, imagine the Crash Bandicoot trilogy if it was on the PS3, but with a lot of dynamic lighting that makes it look a bit more next-gen for the PS4?"
Unfortunately, the line between a remake, remaster, or a re-release with additional content and/or improvements nowadays has become hard to figure out which is which.
tl;dr - How different is Wild Arms 1 from Wild Arms Alter Code:F, and if I had to pick one, which would you recommend?

I'm playing the original Wild Arms on PS4, and it's been running smoothly until I got to the Berial golem bossfight right before the end of the game, everytime I beat him the game immediately crashes. There was an update for the game recently so I'm assuming that has something to do with it?

Got inspired to do this while looking an archive of old Western genre movie posters. Why THIS one? It’s world map theme is a direct homage to it.

Ashley 7877 Brad 9358
Lilka 5907 Tim 5319
Kanon 7048 Marivel 6148
What is the lowest level you can max HP PSS for every character?
9 for Ashley, Brad, Lilka, Tim 10 for Kanon (she will level from 3-10 against Judecca no way to stop it), 14 for Marivel
How do you accomplish this?
every character joins based on Ashley's current level, its possible to keep ashley at 3 until the 1v1 Caina fight where you CANNOT have forgetfulness status, its best to do this fight at 9 as regardless of if you are level 3 or 9 you will hit level 14 after this fight.
the game has 5 1v1 fights where you have to reset scum or save state scum (ps4/5 version) Trask, Vincefield, Caina and Grasuwein for Ashley and Judecca for Kanon. Leitea Salk Medium conterattack has a bug with accelerator that keeps the counter status until you use accelerator on a different skill, so you can basically bait out normal attacks and get counters while still doing damage with ARMS etc. The true lowest level file is probably only possible on the PS4/5 version, you would need power ball lottery levels of RNG luck to do this at the lowest level possible without the save stat reloading available on those versions.
Do Vit apples matter?
No, doesnt impact HP growth at all
Who do I give apples to?
It really doesnt matter, there are so few in the game that they make little difference, my personal preference is Vit/Res on Tim, Sorc on Marivel, Strength on Kanon.
How long did it take?
56 hours on a platinum trophy run including save state reset time.
Why do this?
Wild Arms 2 is one of my favorite RPG's, jumping back into it recently it was a question I myself had and found little to no answers on the internet, hopefully this will matter to the 15-20 people who play this game :)
--cheers to the Wild Arms 2 lovers out there!

Hey all. So, WA 2 is my favorite game of all time and I'm wanting to get a Knightblazer tattoo to join some others I've recently gotten from some other franchises I love. That said, my tattoo artist doesn't know what I'm talking about and I'm trying to find some great Knightblazer art to use as a reference. Anybody have any they'd be willing to post or send my way?

So I’m playing wild arms again and apparently forgot about the animal noises the monsters made and was curious if there’s a list of what animals are used for each monster. I.E. goblin uses cat noises.
