There is no alternative for long distance travel nor, like OP, when you live on an island. Few days ago I read an article about Geneva airport, it was about how the majority of the flights from there could be replaced by the train, counting train journeys up to 8 hour. Cool, I like travel by train, but I also don't have vacation days to spend sitting waiting to reach the destination. So, where is the saving when go somewhere takes two, three times the amount of time?

We have something similar in Italy too. A friend of mine with a B&B had to put a sign inside the shower, because guests were keeping pulling it, thinking it was a light switch.

What % of these people are Americans/live in USA? I.e. is there a normalisation of the result, or top countries are also the ones with more people taking the quiz?

Which ones did you have in mind?
West USA (Grand Canyon, Zion, Death Valley, Yosemite, Sequoia,...) and Rocky Mountains (Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Glacier).

It is still a race, now run on multiple days and reserved to classic and vintage cars.

Stop pretending it was 100% "European".
I never wrote their culture is European, but always used the term Hellenic. I also wrote that at that time there was no cultural difference between Greece and Anatolia. Who is showing prejudices is you, rejecting the fact that Georgia is culturally closer to the West (Greek, Christian roots of Europe), than the East (Turkic/Persian).
I mean, Georgians want to be part of the European Union, not of the Organisation of Turkic States. So they probably considered themselves way more European, than you want to push them be Asian.

You are now mixing geography and culture. The question was about culture, and Roman-Greek/Hellenic culture has a far deeper influence in Georgia, than any other culture. And back then there was no cultural difference between the two sides of the Aegean Sea. Applying your logic, then the whole Europe is Asian.

Been at the border definitely they had influence (just look at the food), but ethnicity, religion, and language are not a consequence of the Asian influence, nor derive from the Russian conquest. They predates both of them.

Their roots are associated with the Hellenic world, not with bordering Turkic or Persian. They don't have the Roman factor that characterise Europe, but very similar for the rest (also Christian).

prístina
I would visit Prizren over Pristina in Kosovo. Prizren is the historical capital, and the old town has a nice area with café and restaurants (and a gin bar).

The same, I had it planned for spring 2022, as a post Covid trip. 4 weeks from Moscow to Vladivostock. It is at the bottom of the list now.

Just another example of countries letting certain things grow too big to fail.
And how create something too big to bail is the solution for the too big to fail? Because Switzerland just kicked the can down the road. Same inept people in charge (and not only in CS...), same controls that don't work in place, and an even bigger bank you will not be able to save.

Less material, cheaper to build. The entire public toilets in US are asshole design, because stalls are designed to save money, not to offer privacy.
/then OP is a bot farming karma.

Fun fact, the rivers of Switzerland flow in three different seas:
Rhone > Mediterranean Sea (+ Ticino > Po)
Rhine > North Sea
Inn > Danube > Black Sea
